DET/CHE Conference Attendees,

We are excited to be back in person and together for our annual DET/CHE Conference this year! We wanted to make sure that everyone was ready and up to speed with regard to our conference communication before we got started. For our conference communication we will again be using “Pronto,” a communication platform which has been widely adopted by many schools here in California and across the nation for their classroom, online, and campus engagement. We are grateful for their sponsorship in allowing us the use of this software for our conference wide communication efforts.

Below you will find instructions to download Pronto and be provisioned into the appropriate groups with your peers for the conference. We will also have members of the Pronto team with us at the Conference to talk with and also help us with troubleshooting.

How to download and access Pronto?

Step 1. If you received an email invite, either download the mobile apps

Or use the desktop link: https://accounts.pronto.io

Step 2. Once you have followed the link on your mobile device or have scanned the QR code with your mobile device. You will see one of two options below. Please follow the directions for your specific case.

A. If you have Pronto already downloaded on your device, you can get started by accepting the invitation to get started or hitting Redeem Invite on the appropriate screen.

B. If you do not have the Pronto App downloaded to your mobile device, you will be prompted to download the Pronto Mobile app through the app store of your respective device. Go ahead and download the Pronto Mobile App.

Step 3. Once you have downloaded the Pronto Mobile App, you will be directed to the screen below. You will see two options to utilize your phone number or your email.

***Select Email and use your corresponding email to the one that was used for the conference to access Pronto and be permitted into the correct groups of communication at the conference.

(If that is unsuccessful, go back to the original screen and select the redeem invite where you will be able to gain access.)

If you have any questions or concerns, please email Liesl at detcheconference@gmail.com.
