First Timer Scholarship

Considering attending DET/CHE This year? Is this your first time joining us?

We understand that securing funding for professional development opportunities can be a challenge. To support new participants, DET/CHE offers financial assistance specifically for first-time attendees. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to join a dynamic community of higher education professionals in educational technology.

To be eligible for a DET/CHE Scholarship , applicants must:

1. Currently be part of the following California higher education systems: California State University, University of California, Community College or Private University/College;

2. Demonstrate financial need as a result of limited professional development funding/resources;

3. Not have previously received a DET/CHE Scholarship

4. Submit all application requirements by the stated deadline

Note: The DET/CHE scholarship only covers the conference registration fees. Transportation and lodging is not included.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We sincerely appreciate your understanding that, unfortunately, we are unable to process cancellations and refunds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

However, we are pleased to offer the option to transfer your registration to another attendee. Registrants may substitute or transfer registration to another attendee at any time at no charge. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to the DET/CHE Admin Manager (detcheconference@gmail.com).
